Date: 21/11/04: Alive? Yes. College for me (University for Heddy) has been absolutely killer. I know we should be putting way more time into this than what you see, but there's just too much going on. We hope after awhile that it picks up speed. You should be able to see buttons now, as well as a new comic! I'm doing the next one, so I'll finish it as fast as I can. You'll notice that this one has no shading. We figured it was better that we put it up now with no shading than take 324820138 more days to shade it. ^^; Date: 26/09/04: Just a few small updates. I positioned the first/latest/etc links so they're actually viewable now. Heddy's working on buttons for them, but her PsP is being a bitch about text, so I don't know when they'll be finished. Sorry about page two not being up on the 20th. I have no idea what went wrong there, but it's up now. ^^; Page three is scheduled to go up on the 10th of October. I'll make sure it's up, this time. Since it might be awhile before other sections of the site will be up, I'll give you guys a little contact information, if you'd like to get ahold of Heddy or I. The e-mail for this webcomic is: jessheddycomic@yahoo.ca. If you'd like to know more about either one of us, here are some of our other hangouts: My Deviantart Site, Heddy's Deviantart Site, and My DJ. Heddy's DJ is friends only, so I won't bother posting the link. Hopefully the buttons will be up soon! XD Date: 19/09/04: Hey, we've updated again, slightly. ^^; I finished coloring page three today, and it will be up sometime next month. I've got it uploaded, and I've got the site set to update on the 10th of October. :D! Page two will be up tommorrow, drawn by Heddy! Hope you all like it! Well, here it is, my very first rant. I'm Jess, one of the authors of this wonderful webcomic we like to call Diamond Girls. Right now we only have two comics done, and we're only hoping to update monthly because both of us have just started university and college. Bear with us folks, this site is definitly under heavy construction. It is very late for me right now, so I probably won't end up finishing the whole site tonight. I probably will post the first comic, though. ^.-! Doing this whole thing has been a sort of dream of ours since we were kids, and I hope it works out. Wish us luck, and keep on reading! :3 |
Date: 21/11/04: I'm so sorry this page was so late and also so lacking in fanservice. (Although I must admit, that's a pretty hot shot of Midi there in the second panel, baybeh!) I finally got the buttons and stuff done for the site, too. They're crappy jpegs, but at least they function. Now all that needs to be done is for there to be sites for those jpegs to lead TO! This should be a much quicker process due to the fact that I only have two weeks left of classes and then a half a month before my exams where I will probably be looking for any excuse to not be studying, up to and including working on this site. Well, anyway, hope you're enjoying the comic so far! Date: 19/09/04: Hi, I'm Heddy, the other author of this comic. I'm pretty infamous for starting things but never finishing them, but this is sort of different since it's a cherished childhood dream. That and Jess is so gung ho, it's contagious even to someone as chronically lazy as I am. I may say that I'm busy because of all my university, but the truth is, I'm much more occupied with my Harry Potter and Sims 2 obsessions. Midterms are already coming up, and I haven't spent half a minute studying. I'm a disgrace to my ancestors, I tell you! Ah well, that's life I suppose. I hope that y'all like this comic: I've had to whore myself to the gay guy in the dorm next door for scanner use. (How does a woman whore herself to a gay guy, you ask? Copious amounts of Almond Crush Pocky.) Sorry about the major construction goin' down, here, by the way. Once I finish the Harry Potter series, this site'll have some neat goodies for you to peruse that include but are not limited to scans of our embarassing old DG-related artwork and writing from way back in elementary school. Now what other webcomics do you know that willingly provide that level of retro kitsch? |
